Keep the source attached to the edition

Event information is organised by its provider or casino, the named edition and its period. A recurring tournament name does not make last month’s dates, pool or conditions current. Source notes stay attached to the editorial record.

The site distinguishes evergreen format explanations from dated events. Publication state and event time state are separate: an unfinished record does not become a public offer when a date arrives.

A benefit needs a basis

A comparison should identify the actual rule and its practical consequence. A lower qualifying bet, different score cap or more convenient ending time can support a specific preference. “Better overall” is not a substitute for that explanation.

Smaller-field claims require comparable event data. A smaller brand or a VIP-only label does not demonstrate weaker competition. Shared provider leaderboards keep the same field across their participating hosts.

Examples explain; they do not predict

Illustrative calculations are labelled as examples. They show how a selected formula works, not what a player is likely to win. We do not present simulated names, positions or winnings as a real leaderboard.

Corrections and updates

A useful correction identifies the page, event edition and affected detail. Submit that information through our contact form. Material changes should be reflected in the page and in connected comparisons, rather than being left in an old table.

The scoring guide and shared-pool guide demonstrate the distinctions used throughout the site.

THE FOLLOW-UP QUESTIONS

A little more clarity.

Q&A
Why do some details remain unspecified?

Missing event information should remain missing. Filling a table with guessed dates, player counts or conditions would make the comparison less useful.

Are comparison statements guarantees?

No. They describe supported differences or a stated preference. They do not guarantee eligibility, a leaderboard position or a return.
